Rob Kraetsch was an award winning still photographer before falling in love with the cinematic arts.

Rob is extensively versed with shooting everything from visual effects and stop-motion animation to unscripted comedy.  He handles projects of all scales and genres.  He is seasoned in dealing with large scale logistics and small scale restrictions.  Great story is always his goal.

Rob's work has been featured on every major network and streaming platform in addition to having numerous theatrical releases.  His recent feature No Alternative was the opening film at the 'Dances With Films' festival in Hollywood.  Previously works such as Born & Raised had extensive festival runs and racked up many awards including best cinematography.

Experienced in the realms of visual effects and stop-motion animation, Rob lensed many of the visual effects and stunts on the wildly successful Sharknado and was the gaffer and a motion control operator on the Academy Award nominated Anomalisa.
